I'll stamp all over 'serious boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive paydays.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters participated in the customary stare-down, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
